Sand Habour, Sand

Sand Båthamn is charmingly situated in the river basin where the fjord meets Suldalslågen: Western Norway's largest salmon river. The harbor is located in the center of Sand itself, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, cultural center and museum. Ryfylke Fjordhotel is also the nearest neighbour.

There are good hiking opportunities in the area, and a trip to Laksestudio and the round trip around the architectural gem Høse-Bru is recommended.

There is a petrol pump in the harbour, and a petrol station and workshop a little further down the street.
