Enjoy good winter days in the Treasure Chamber of Suldal. Here you quickly travel from the fjord with the livlege community center to Høgheia with miles of ski slopes, ski lifts and good winter experiences. Here are our top 10 tips for fun winter days in Suldal.

1. Experience miles of marked ski slopes

At Gullingen you will find a number of beautiful ski trails for all aldrar and wishes. From the parking in Breiastøldalen, Mosvatnet and Hedlebrekk/Fjellbergskardet you will find great trail networks. For those who want fantastic views, you can go up to Reinsnuten or Natlandsnuten. The snow hub is for experts, but in return provides a view a late will glow. At Mosvatnet and Fjellbergskardet there is also a lighted trail for those who also want to go out on the ski trail after the sun has set. 2. Take the family to Suldal Bad or an evening in a wood-fired tub

Suldal's own folk bath, Suldal Bad, offers a symje pool, therapy bath, climbing wall, slide, jumping tower, sauna and outdoor jacuzzi, all with stunning views of the fjord landscape. Ein can also rent a wood-fired tub for the evening from Mo Laksegard and Vikane Hyttetun where you get a view of Suldalslågen or Sudalsvatnet.

3. Enjoy great local food from Suldal and the region

In Suldal you can velja among a number of good kafears and restaurants where local traditions are strong. Catch Komlethursday in the municipal centre, try Suldal's heilt eigen kaffi "Suldalsskvetten", enjoy a four-course dinner at the design hotel, join a guided tour of the farm brewery or take dinner with panoramic views of the Sandsfjord. 4. Catch great concerts and events

Throughout the year, the Culture House in Suldal offers a number of good concerts and foresights for all parties. The program can be found in our event calendar here or on suldal.kulturhus.no.

5. New day in the ski trek

Bring your family for a day in the ski lift at Gullingen. The ski lift is 800 meters and has three slopes. There is a children's ski lift. In the bot of the ski lift you will find the heating dust where you can buy food and drink.

6. Visit the municipal center of Sand with kafear, museum and local shops

The municipal centre of Sand is close to Sandsfjorden with various niche shops, kafear and museum. At the Nesa Lake House at the Ryfyke Museum, the youngest can dress up as king and queen, and visit the self-evident Kvitebjørnen. In the center of Sand there is also a climbing park for the younger ones. Utvalde dagar has a square.

7. Challenge your family in the ski lane

During the winter season, skiing with moguls, alpine skiing, ski jumping and a lot of skiing will be facilitated in the Breiastøldalen valley and at Gullingen tourist center. Here the whole family can challenge themselves to various skiing arts!

8. Get great nature experiences in our hamlets

From each hamlet in Suldal you get great nature experiences close to fjords, mountains, lakes and rivers. From the Ropeid peninsula you can take in the fjord landscape from Grytenuten, at Suldalsosen you can wander along Suldalslågen and in Erfjord you can take a stroll along the edge of the fjord. You can get hiking maps for all the hamlets at select shops and at the Suldal tourist office.

9. Take your family to the movies or bowling

The Culture House in Suldal offers a cinema with the latest films several days in the veka. In addition, they have an eigen bowling alley with three lanes.

10. Lower your heart rate in our cabins and hotels
