In the town center of Sand, right by the waterfront of Sandsfjorden, you'll find Ryfylke Fjord Hotel. The hotel features a large restaurant with fjord views, meeting rooms of various sizes, and offers bicycle and kayak rentals. They also have their own bar and offer local specialties on the menu.

Within short distance to everything

Ryfylke Fjord Hotel is located in the center of the town of Sand, within walking distance to cafes, shops, museums, a beach, and a cultural center. At the Suldal Cultural Center, you can enjoy bowling, cinema, a library, and events. Just a short walk away, you'll also find the beautiful Suldal Bath, several hiking trails, and the mighty Sandsfossen waterfall. During the summer season, you can visit Norway's first salmon studio here.

Meetings and active experiences

Ryfylke Fjord Hotel offers several meeting rooms, suitable for groups of various sizes and with different needs. Ryfylke Basecamp is located at the hotel and offers a range of experiences on land and water. From the reception, you can rent kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and electric bikes, among other activities available upon request.

Local culinary treasures

From the hotel's restaurant and bar, you'll have panoramic views of the marina and Sandsfjorden. They offer a good and varied menu, including soups, sandwiches, pizza, and burgers. Local ingredients take center stage, and you can, for example, enjoy an Angus burger from Træ Gården, located in Sandsbygda. The hotel also has an outdoor restaurant with heaters, where local residents and guests gather as soon as the temperature allows. During the summer, they also keep "Promenaden" open, which has a fantastic location right by the Suldal River. If you're lucky, you might spot salmon jumping while sitting here!
