Ryfylke Fjord Hotel is located in the center of the town of Sand, within walking distance to cafes, shops, museums, a beach, and a cultural center. Ryfylke Basecamp is located at the hotel and offers a range of experiences on land and water. From the reception, you can rent kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and electric bikes, among other activities available upon request.
From the hotel's restaurant and bar, you'll have panoramic views of the marina and Sandsfjorden. They offer a good and varied menu, including soups, sandwiches, pizza, and burgers. Local ingredients take center stage, and you can, for example, enjoy an Angus burger from Træ Gården, located in Sandsbygda. The hotel also has an outdoor restaurant with heaters, where local residents and guests gather as soon as the temperature allows. During the summer, they also keep "Promenaden" open, which has a fantastic location right by the Suldal River. If you're lucky, you might spot salmon jumping while sitting here!
