Hebnes vineyard

Place to eat
In Hebnes, with a panoramic view of several fjords, you find the Hebnes vineyard. Visit the wine yard on a farm visit where you can stroll through the wine yard and taste Suldal´s own wine!

The first wine yard in Rogaland

The farmers Toyni Tobekk and Arild Hebnes made a big decision in 2021. This year they went from being a pig farm to starting the dream of developing the first wine yards in Rogaland country! In the spring they put the first grape plants in the soil and in 2022 the first guests could taste their very own wine with names such as "Lars" and "Tor".

Farm visits with wine tasting

Hebnes vineyard invites individuals and groups to visit their wine yard. In the summer they have different open days where individuals can book a visit to the farm, and they take group bookings upon request. A farm visit lasts for about 1,5 hours where you start with a walk through the wine yard and grapes. After the stroll you will be taken to their production room where you will learn more about the process of making grapes into wine. You will of course also get a chance to taste the wines, that are paired with different local products such as cheese and ham.

Hebnes vineyard also hosts open days combined with a fjord cruise with Rødne Fjord Cruise in the summer season, departing from Stavanger, Tau and Hjelmeland. Some open days are also coordinated with the speed boat for those who want to access the farm from the water.
