Fattnes Vestre

Place to eat
Fattnes Vestre is located on a peninsula between Hylsfjorden and Saudafjorden. Here, they are engaged in bakery, forestry, sawmill, beef cattle, and mountain-grazing sheep.

Cows, Sheep, and New Specialties

Fattnes Vestre is idyllically situated between the historic Hylsfjorden and Saudafjorden. People have been living here, engaged in forestry, agriculture, and fruit cultivation since the 17th century, and perhaps even longer. In Vanvik, they were known for high-quality fruits and berries.

From the farm shop at Fattnes Vestre, you can purchase freshly baked goods for the weekend and products from their own animals. You can also order wood from the farm's sawmill. From the farm's oven, you can savor their 'Treasure Chamber' bread, and they often have other specialties available too! Fattnes Vestre can accommodate small groups upon reservation.

Fattnes Vestre can accept small groups on request.

Close to the countryside

Fattnes Vestre collaborates closely with neighboring farms in Fattnes, Vanvik, and the surrounding areas to offer you the best of what the region has to offer. Therefore, don't overlook the opportunity to purchase herbs, eggs, and other locally sourced products from neighboring farms during your visit. You can also combine your trip to Fattnes Vestre with exploring the hiking trails in the area (hiking maps can be found under 'hiking'). The view from Fattnesnuten is magical in good weather.

It's also nice to arrange a visit to the Rosebua at Løland. Or how about a leisurely stroll through the coastal town of Vanvik and a dip from the beach?
