Hiking Easy

Hiking Demanding

The Mosvatnet ski area is a great hiking area for the whole family with trails of different lengths and levels of difficulty. Here you will also find a light trail and a separate children's trail.

From the ski hut by the car park, you will find a lighted trail that makes a nice round trip, which provides a great skiing experience after the sun has gone down. The trip totals 3.3 km (category blue), with a children's route that takes up 1 km of this round (category green). For the more experienced skier, you can extend the round to a more demanding trip of 7.5 km towards Hedlebrekk (category blue) or the 8 km round around Mosvatnet (category blue). You can also take the trail towards Vaneheia (category red) or the top hike up to Natlandsnuten (category red) from this area.

End the day with a trip to Gullingen Turistsenter and Fjellcamping for a good dinner, or to play a bit of skiing by the campfire.

The Mosvatnet ski area can be found when you turn off towards Gullingen from RV 13, and continue up the mountain. You do not turn left towards the Tourist Centre, but continue towards the right for a further 50 metres. Then you see the parking space by the ski lift.
