A trip around Erøy in Erfjord is a well-accessible trip suitable for all ages. Here you get close to the fjord landscape and the surrounding wildlife. There are two different options for the trip.

 

Option 1


Follow the main road to Tednes. Where the tarmac ends, continue straight ahead for 3-400 metres. Follow the forest road to the right up to the trail's highest point. New forest road down where you cross a small stream. Continue on the path through the forest and onto the forest road that goes down to Bogsfjorden 500 m north of Hattavågen. Follow the forest road along the lake back to the main road on Erøy.

Time: 2 hours

Distance: 6 km.

Highest point: 183 m

Access: By car to Erfjord.


Option 2. Erøy – Hattavågen (part of Erøy around)

Park at Betel Bedehus on Erøy. Follow the road that goes up towards gardstun, and take the first road to the right. Follow the road that goes through and past the gardstun, and further along the lake out to Hattavågen. Good forest road all the way. Well suited for prams and bicycles. Remember to close the gates!

Distance: 3 km.
