Sand trail map

Sand, the municipal center in Suldal, lies by the Sandsfjorden and is the center of Suldal municipality. Sand is surrounded by forest and high mountains, with Hellandsnuten (747 m) as the highest. Here I present a selection of light and heavier marked tours in the area. At Sand you will find shops, petrol stations, hotels and food service.

Well organised: Turane i Sand center is well organised. Here, the route runs along a flat and wide path, which is paved or gravel. For the Sand safari route, you must expect some climbing.
