In the 1960s, the village was the home of the Røldal-Suldal Kraft development, something that has left its mark on Nesflaten to this day with architecture that differs from what one would expect of a building style in a Western country village. A trip to Nesflaten offers residential areas and power plants in funky style, and great experiences close to Suldalsvatnet and close to the Ryfylke hills.
You can download a tour map for Nesflaten by clicking here. You can also get the map at Suldal tourist information and selected shops.
Well organised: The tour in the center of Nesflaten is well organised. Here the path goes on a flat and wide path, which is asphalted or gravel. There is a bridge on the road, which is also wide.
