Kvednahola at Vasshus

Architecture
Mountains

The old mill and the building at Kvednahola are good examples of pre-industrial use of water power.

The guards at Ritland, Vasshus and Førland used the mills here to grind their grain. Two mills, a mill house and a reed saw have been restored, in addition to other buildings.

You can find Kvedneholda at RV13 between Sand and Suldalosen. At Kvedneholda you will find a car park and a great walking area along Ritlandsvatnet, well suited for the whole family.
