With electric bikes you will get close to nature experiences, as well as having more energy once you arrive at your destination. Electric bikes act as regular bikes, but they also have a small engine that will help when cycling uphill or in headwind. How much help you want is completely up to you. However, remember that the engine only works when using the pedals. Here in Suldal we charge the batteries for our bicycles with clean energy from the large hydropower developments in the municipality.
