Suldalsvatnet is the largest lake in Rogaland and offers excellent opportunities for catching brown trout for dinner.

The lake itself is located at 68 meters above sea level and covers an area of approximately 30 square kilometers. It has a dense population of char and a good population of brown trout. Suldalsvatnet can be found when driving along RV 13 near Suldalsosen. Fishing permits are available through iNatur here.

Boat and canoe rentals are available from Vikane Hyttetun (south side) and Energihotellet (north side).

Well accessible: Some areas along Suldalsvatnet have good access, such as Nesflaten Kai. There is an asphalted area that leads all the way to the lake. Please contact us for more information.
