The Lovrafjord

Mountains
Waterfall/river
Fishing
Kayaking
Hiking

The Lovrafjorden offers views outside the ordinary. Take in the image of the fjord winding inwards between sharp mountain walls, almost free of modern housing.

The Ryfylke National Tourist Route runs along the eastern edge of the fjord. Make sure you take the tiny cabin that stands alone on a small island out in the fjord, or stop at the rest areas along the way for some good flash shots.

Well organised: At the stop towards the Lovrafjorden along FV46 find a paved area where you can park. Here you get a good view of the fjord.

The Lovrafjord
has an official environmental certification. Choosing experiences and places to stay with the "Reis Grønt" label ensures that the companies you support take active environmental responsibility. See all with the certification here.
