Breiastøldalen Cross Country Ski Area

Skiing
Mountains

Breiastøldalen is a great hiking area where you can find ski trails for all wishes and levels of experience. The area also has several summit tours and its own ski area in season!

You can try your hand on the road towards Sandsaosen for a 10 km trip without major changes in altitude and climb. This trip is a total of 10 km (category green). It is also great to take the trip to the right along the edge of the mountain towards Langeli, where it is often calmer on windy days (category blue).

The more experienced skier can take the round trip around Reinsheia of a total of 13 km (category red). On the trip, you will experience great mountain scenery, and from time to time you can feel that you are completely alone in the world, with snow and sky as far as you can see. You can also take the 8 km trip over Skuteheia (category red).

At the entrance to the Breiastøldalen ski area you will find one of two ski fields in the area (See the "Løypekjøraren på Gullingen" Facebook page for updates on the season). Here the children can try their hand at various skiing activities such as sledding and jumping. A great place for a rest! The day can end with a meal at the Gullingen Tourist Center and Fjellcamp.

Breiastøldalen lies just above Gullingen when you take off from RV 13 on the way up the mountain. You turn off past the Tourist Center and continue past the ski lift.
