1. Experience miles ski trails

At Gullingen you will find a number of great ski slopes for all ages and wishes. From the car park in Breiastøldalen, Mosvatnet, and Hedlebrekk/Fjellbergskardet you will find great trail networks. For those who want a fantastic view, you can go up to Reinsnuten or Natlandsnuten. The trail is for the experts, but in return offers a view you won't soon forget. At Mosvatnet and Fjellbergskardet there is also a lighted trail for those who also want to go out on the ski track after the sun has gone down. 2. Ta med familien til Suldal Bad eller ein kveld i vedfyrt stamp

Suldal's own public bath, Suldal Bad, offers a swimming pool, therapy bath, climbing wall, slide, jumping tower, sauna and outdoor jacuzzi, all with fantastic views of the fjord landscape. You can also rent a wood-burning stove for the evening from Mo Laksegard and Vikane Hyttetun, where you can enjoy a view of Suldalslågen or Sudalsvatnet.

3. Enjoy good local food from Suldal and the region

In Suldal you can choose from a number of good cafes and restaurants where local traditions are strong. Spend your next Thursday in the municipal centre, try Suldal's very own coffee "Suldalsskvetten", enjoy a four-course dinner at a design hotel, join the guided tour of a farm brewery or have dinner with a panoramic view of the Sandsfjord. 4. Enjoy good concerts and events

Throughout the year, Kulturhuset in Suldal offers a number of good concerts and performances for all ages. You can find the program in our events calendar here or at suldal.kulturhus.no.

5. Enjoy a day on the ski slopes

Take the family with you for a day on the ski slopes at Gullingen. The ski run is 800 meters and has three runs. It has its own children's ski lift. At the bottom of the ski lift you will find the heating room where you can buy food and drink.

6. Visit the Sand municipal center with café, museum and local shops

The Sand municipal center is close to the Sandsfjorden with various niche shops, cafés and a museum. At Nesasjøhuset to the Ryfyke Museum, the little ones can dress up as king and queen, and of course visit the polar bear. In the center of Sand there is also a climbing park for the younger ones. On selected days they have a local market.

7. Challenge the family in the skiing game

Every winter season, activity areas are made for skiing games with tobogganing, alpine skiing, jumping and much more in Breiastøldalen and at the Gullingen tourist centre. Here the whole family can challenge themselves in various skiing skills!

8. Get great nature experiences in our village

From every single village in Suldal you get great nature experiences close to the fjord, mountains, lake and river. From the Ropeid peninsula you can take in the fjord landscape from Grytenuten, on Suldalsosen you can walk along Suldalslågen and in Erfjord you can take a stroll along the edge of the fjord. You can get hiking maps for all the villages at selected shops and at the Suldal tourist office.

9. Take the family to the cinema or bowling

Kulturhuset in Suldal offers a cinema with the latest films several days a week. In addition, they have their own bowling alley with three lanes.

10. Lower your heart rate with our cabins and hotels
