«Venterommet» at Ropeid quay

The waiting room at the Ropeid ferry quay is elegantly reflected in the fjord. There is a fine view to be savoured.

The building has large glass surfaces that enhance the closeness of the fjord and the nearby rockface. The waiting room was designed by Jensen & Skodvin. The cross-fjord ferry between Ropeid and Sand was discontinued in 2016, but a boat still calls here on its scheduled route Stavanger–Sand–Sauda.
