Experience traditional farming culture and see exciting architecture on a tour of Nesflaten.
Nesflaten was a traditional farming village that saw a big transformation in the 1960, during the hydropower development of Røldal-Suldal. This is evident in some of the buildings that were raised here during that period. The architect Geir Grung designed residences as well as a distinctive hydropower facility. Today, the former staff hotel and cafeteria has been refurbished into the distinctive Energihotellet.
Nesflaten can be visited as a detour from the National Tourist Route Ryfylke.
