Suldal has mountain lakes as well as lowland lakes inviting anglers to test their luck. Mosvatn lake is readily accessible, Blåsjø reservoir offers exciting fishing, and you can combine hiking and fishing in the public lands, Suldal Statsallmenning. Suldalsvatnet is known for its large trout – a lucky fisherman caught an 11-kilo fish in 1996. Other recommended lakes include Sandsavatnet, the lakes and tarns of Nedre Moen and Napen, and the Kvanndalen-Bleskestad area.
